Membership

All membership donations will directly benefit Friends of the Edisto (FRED) and its conservation goals for the Edisto River watershed. Membership in FRED is for one year. Members will receive periodic newsletters and be invited to participate in FRED meetings, events, and outings.

FRED is a private, non-profit group approved by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) organization and registered as a charitable organization with the Office of the Secretary of State of South Carolina. Membership in Friends of the Edisto (FRED) is tax deductible to the extent provided by law.
