Join
Us at the fourth Annual Conservation Lobby Day on Tuesday May
8th! For
those of you who have not participated in the past, this is the
conservation community’s largest lobby day at the State House.
Conservation groups throughout South Carolina join
us in Columbia to
lobby their Senators and Representatives on our common conservation
agenda. We end the day with a celebratory oyster roast and Lowcountry
boil at the Seibels House where we shuck oysters with state legislators
and enjoy the rock and blues ensembles played by The Purple Mermaids.
Our Annual
Conservation Lobby Day has been an incredible success each year—with
hundreds of conservationists in attendance. Of course we want
to draw an even larger crowd this year, so save the date on your
calendar and make plans to attend.
There
is no cost to attend. Please RSVP to Heather Spires
by Tuesday May 1st at heathers@scccl.org or
(803) 771-7102 x25.
