Join FRED and SCPIA for "Spirit of the River" on August 13

Please join us for the revival of the Spirit of the River Festival on Saturday, August 13 at Givhans Ferry State Park!

Friends of the Edisto and the South Carolina Paddlesports Industry Association (SCPIA) are co-sponsoring this event, which will include vendors, live music, a BBQ buffet, a special DNR presentation, games/contests, and SCPIA river activities throughout the day (including kayaking, canoeing, paddleboarding, and ACA instruction).

Admission to the event is free for FRED members and $10 (normally $25) to enjoy the event or to sign up as a new FRED member. An extra fee may be required for certain SCPIA river activities throughout the day.

Givhans Ferry State Park is located at the intersection of Highway 61 and the Edisto River in Ridgeville, SC (Dorchester County), and the park address is 746 Givhans Ferry Road, Ridgeville, SC 29472.
